Delivery Policy
1. DELIVERY OF THE PRODUCTS
1.1 Deliveries will take place from Monday to Friday, within 2 (two) to 5 (five) business days (dependant on stock availability and where you reside within the republic of South Africa) from completion of check-out and/or successful payment on the DUO website, depending on the availability of the Customer.
1.2 We can ship to any physical address countrywide within South Africa; unfortunately, we can't ship to Post Office boxes.
1.3 No deliveries will be made on public holidays or during weekends. Orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed the following business day.
1.4 Should the customer's address change after the product was ordered, it is solely the customer’s responsibility to inform the DUO customer care team of their new address prior to dispatch of the order.
1.5 Should the delivery be unsuccessful due to the customers availability, the order shall be cancelled and returned to the warehouse. The customer’s online account shall be credited with the purchase price of the product less the delivery fee charged.
2. WARRANTY SUPPORT
2.1 All products sold with a warranty carry their full manufacturer's warranty (as stipulated by the official distributor).
2.2 Products under warranty are sent to the relevant supplier or manufacturer for repair or replacement. The product shall be assessed, and the product will either be approved for replacement, or the customer shall receive a credit on their profile. The warranty covers manufacturing defects only and general wear and tear as well as physical damage is specifically excluded.
2.3 Warranties are immediately null and void if there is physical user damage or the equipment has been tampered with, warranty stickers have been removed, and seals on equipment have been broken by anyone other than the suppliers or manufacturer’s representative.
2.4 The customer must go onto the DUO website to log their return, a customer can also call the DUO customer service line for assistance with logging of a warranty claim.
2.5 All relevant customer information shall be captured in respect of a return on the website.
2.6 Should the warranty claim be valid, a collection of the product shall be arranged with the customer, on a suitable date and time for collection.
2.7 The product shall thereafter be sent for assessment, if there is physical damage or the product is out of warranty the warranty claim shall be rejected in this instance, the customer will be liable for the return courier cost in the amount of R65 (Sixty-Five Rand).
2.8 If there is a valid warranty claim, a replacement product shall be approved and sent to the customer.
2.9 We conform to the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act of South Africa, whichever is applicable. If you have a change of mind and would like to return your purchase, you need to return the product within 7 (seven) days of receiving the products. In this instance, the customer will be liable for the return courier cost in the amount of R65 (Sixty-Five Rand).
3. including any data loss whatsoever where storage media has been returned for exchange or repair.
