Warranty and After Sales Support
All products sold with a warranty carry their full manufacturer's warranty (as stipulated by the official distributor).
1. FAULTY PRODUCT
1.1 If you receive a faulty product, please let us know within 7 days of receiving. You will be required to log a return on the website, and our team will contact you where we will arrange for the item to be collected and tested.
1.2 If we find that the product is not faulty, it will be returned to you, and a R65 courier fee will apply.
1.3 If a product is found to be faulty, we will send it for repairs or offer you a replacement depending on the issue and the supplier’s policy.
1.4 Please inspect all products upon delivery and do not accept any item that shows visible signs of damage.
1.5 If you accept delivery and later discover damage, please report it to DUO within 24 hours of receiving the product. This allows us to assess whether the damage occurred after delivery.
1.6 Please note that faults arising from normal wear and tear, or from damage or alterations made by you or any unauthorised party, will not qualify for repair, replacement, or refund.
2. RETURNS
Non- defective Products- Right to “cool off”:
2.1 You have the right to cancel your purchase within 7 days of receiving your product, in accordance with Section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act. If you choose to exercise this right, you will receive a full refund/credit, provided that the following conditions are met:
a. The product is undamaged, and all original labels and stickers remain attached.
b. The product is returned in its original, undamaged packaging, and remains sealed where applicable.
c. All accessories, parts, and documentation originally included are returned.
d. A return request is logged on our website within 7 days of receiving or collecting the product.
2.2 If your product meets the criteria in 2.1 (a) to (d) above, to start a return, simply log into your online profile or reach out to our friendly DUO Customer Care team at hello@duo-tech.co.za — we’ll be happy to assist.
2.3 Once you’ve logged a return through your online profile, we’ll arrange for a courier to collect your product. If the item is not ready for collection or you’re unavailable when the courier arrives, the collection will be cancelled, and a collection fee will apply for any subsequent attempt.
2.4 DUO will collect the product from you at no cost for assessment. Upon successful approval of the assessment, a credit will be processed to your user profile.
2.5 For a successful collection, products must be securely packaged. The courier will not collect any items that are insufficiently or improperly packed.2.6 If the product fails to meet the criteria in 2.1 (a) to (d) above, the return will be rejected and you will not be refunded/credited. The product will be returned to you, and a R65 courier fee will apply.
3. PRODUCTS SHIPPED IN ERROR
3.1 If you receive an incorrect product or a product that differs from what you ordered, please contact DUO within 24 hours of delivery. You can reach our Customer Care team at 011 236 7825 or email hello@duo-tech.co.za.
3.2 We’ll arrange for the incorrect product to be collected and ensure the correct item is delivered to you as soon as possible.
3.3 Please do not open, use, or remove the product from its original packaging if it’s not the correct item. Once opened or used, the product will be deemed accepted, and you will be responsible for the full purchase price. No return or credit will be processed in such cases.
3.4 DUO cannot be held liable for any damage resulting from misuse or mishandling of our products, including any data loss on storage devices returned for repair or exchange.
